We encourage you to make an appointment with our Practice Nurse or GP when your smear test is due. If you're unsure about when you are due, or if you have any questions, you can check the links below or phone our reception team on:

Primary Care Mental Health Liaison Nurse

We are supported by a Primary Care Mental Health Liaison Nurse, who reviews patients in the Practice every second Tuesday morning & every Friday morning. This service is designed for individuals experiencing mild to moderate mental health concerns, and offers timely, focused support within the primary care setting.

How to Access the Service

All referrals to the Mental Health Liaison Nurse must be made through a GP. If you feel this service may benefit you, please arrange an appointment with a GP first, and they will discuss the most appropriate pathway.

If you require any further information about the service or the referral process, please contact the Practice and our team will be happy to help.

Primary Care Occupational Therapy Service

Occupational therapists are based in the practice. They offer a service to people aged over 16.

Occupational therapists (OTs) help people who have noticed that the everyday activities that they need or want to do are starting to become more difficult due to changes in their physical or mental health.

This could include activities at home (getting in the bath, getting dressed, cooking dinner, enjoying your hobbies), managing work (paid or unpaid, education, caring roles) or getting out and about in your community (travelling, shopping, socialising).

Information about how primary care occupational therapists may be able to help you and how to refer yourself is available at https://www.nhslanarkshire.scot.nhs.uk/services/pcot/.

Travel Vaccinations

If you're planning to travel outside the UK, you may need to be vaccinated against some of the serious diseases found in other parts of the world.
